The Friends of the Collierville Burch Library is a nonprofit group whose purpose is to support the Library through volunteerism, fund raising activities, and sponsorship of programs and services. Friends membership offers you the opportunity to share thoughts, donate your time or lend your talent. New members are always welcome.

If you would like to join the Friends, you can pick up an application from the Library Information Desk or print an application form directly from this web page. Fill-out and mail a copy to the Friends with the yearly membership fee of $10.00 or simply bring it to the next Friends meeting.

Benefits of Being a Member

  • Camaraderie with others who love books.
  • Advance notice of upcoming book sales.
  • Admittance to Members-Only Preview Book-Sale Night.
  • Sharing ideas, helping with sales and sorting donated books
  • Taking an active role in supporting our community library. The library is one of the main cultural and educational resources in our town. By working with the Friends to bolster library finances, we continue to enhance the library's mission to bring the love of reading and books to all of our citizens.

Membership Dues and Meetings

Annual membership is $10.00 and is collected in January of each year.

The Friends meet the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00PM in the Halle Meeting Room located at the Library. Meetings generally last one hour. As a member of the Friends you are not required to attend the meetings. You may choose the level at which you want to support the Friends. You may simply become a member, attend book sales or actively participate in meetings and volunteer for the book sales or other Friends sponsored projects.
